As more people find that they can’t resist gambling, the industry is expected to become more regulated.

Despite the repressive effects of the Internet on the economy, gambling is an increasingly popular and profitable activity. Unlike the early days of the 1990s, online gaming has become a widely accepted adult pastime. In fact, a study by comScore showed that almost ten million people in the US played online poker in 2011. It’s not surprising that the industry has exploded, with over $30 billion dollars being made each year in the US alone.
